Our Story and Mission Statement

My name is Sue Lee, and I started Adult Family Home to take care of my father who has Parkinson's and Dementia caused by Agent Orange during Vietnam War.    His name is Kae, he is strong and amazing father who loved and took good care of his family.    As the disease progressed, we saw a strong able body that slowly took his life.    There were so many doctors'  and specialists' appointments, it has been an unimaginable challenging journey.    I wanted to share our story because in our home, it took a village of generational familial members, from wife, daughters, son and grandchildren who embraced him, showed respect and above all,  we loved him in every stages of his health journey.   It was important for all of us because every life and every moment matters.  He is still alive and has moved back to South Korea with my mother.  We miss them dearly and we try to see them every other year.    In our Adult Family Home, we are that extended familial support that you will receive, as we care and love for your loved ones.  We hope to be your extended family.   'For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life' John 3:16.
